(This will be a sticky post until next Saturday, so be sure to scroll down to see more posts.)

I've encouraged so many people to start "CVSing", but there's always that initial out-of-pocket cost. So I'm going to get you started with a $5.00 giftcard! (Don't worry if you're already a "CVSer"; you're allowed to enter too!) To enter, leave me a comment letting me know you'd like to try your hand at the art of "CVSing". If you're an old hat, tell us about your CVS savings to help encourage those who still haven't jumped on the bandwagon! Post the giveaway on your blog for a second entry. (Just leave a 2nd comment letting me know you posted.) If you don't have a blog, tell (or email) 3 people about this giveaway, and I'll enter you a second time too! (Leave a 2nd comment telling me who you told [sister, aunt, friend]). Please make sure I have a way to contact you.
I'll be randomly picking a winner next Saturday, August 9!
For those of you who are new to CVS, you can find all the info you need right here in our CVS Tutorial.
Hi, This is the first time I've visited your site, and I like your information. I'd be interested in a $5 CVS card. We have three stores within ten miles of our house, so I can usually arrange to include a stop when I do errands. Thanks for the Harris Teeter and Walgreens tips, too.
ReplyDeleteOur area will soon be getting a CVS Pharmacy and I'm so excited to give it a try. This gift card would be a great way to get started.
ReplyDeleteI love CVS! My wonderfully smart sister-in-law helps me figure out all the deals!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me twice in your giveaway. I live in Shelby. Bette Swaringen told me about your web site. I'll post a link on my blog shortly.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Joan
I consider myself an "experienced beginner" to the whole CVS phenomenon. I'm experienced enough to know how far that $5 gift card can go! Please sign me up! I've also written about it on my blog (http://joanoh2.blogspot.com). Thanks for offering this!
ReplyDeleteI'm more of an old hat to CVS'ing. Let's put it this way... I never get the 2% quarterly ECBs cuz I don't spend that much cash out of my pocket. My receipts say that I've saved almost a thousand dollars this year, so far! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to enter! Woo for CVS!
ReplyDeleteI've only been "CVS-ing" for a month and am an addict. My favorite tip is to combine BOGO coupons with the BOGO in store promotions. This month I got lifesavers for free. However, some regions also got Loreal Vive Pro and trident gum... The store is definetly worth investing a lil' money the first time you go. You'll never have to pay that again!
Wow, I'm the first one! I started CVSing a few months ago after I read your tutorials. Although I don't go every week, I have had some success with the buy $20, get $10 ECBs by using by using past ECBs and gift cards from prescription transfers to get free stuff. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have really wanting to try out CVSing, I would love to win!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love CVS! In the past two years or so, I've gotten all of my personal care items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, etc.) FREE! It is a big help to not have to spend money on these things!
ReplyDeleteThanks to CVS .. if there was every a natural disaster.. I would have enough toothpaste/deodorant to keep my entire block smelling good and having clean teeth.. Of course someone else would have to step up with the water but I'd still think I'd be the hero :)
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly new to this whole CVS thing. Blogs like yours are teaching me a lot about how to get some great deals! I'd love to win the CVS gift card and start some new deals! Thanks!

I started CVS-ing about 3 months ago. My first month I spent $36 and saved $177 ("spring spending"). Through the end of July, I have spent a total of $91 "saved" $1,367. Now, I haven't really saved taht much -- that amount includes sales savings (I wouldn't have bought some things unless they were on sale), some items that I won't use (but will donate), and some treats that I wouldn't have purchased except for the awesome savings on them. It's such fun - figuring the deals, sharing with others, and finding great blogs like this!
ReplyDelete~Karen (kgerv@roadrunner.com)
I am still rather new to CVS'ing but the savings our family has made has been incredible. We haven't had to buy shampoo, toothpaste, razors, soap, etc. in months! This has been such a blessing since we lost my income! Thanks again!-mbaldrees@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI'm an old hat. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are SO many things, but if you're new, I'd say start small. Find one or two things in the weekly or monthly ad that you need and buy them to get the ECBs. From there, start "rolling" the ECBs into other items. For example, this month you can get Children's or Infant's Advil free after ECBs. If you use a $1.00 off coupon, you're only paying $4.79 but you earn back $5.79 ECBs. Use those ECBs to buy your next products.
i have literally saved THOUSANDS at cvs this year. i think it's appraoching 5 or 6 thousand (between me and my fiances card). It's a great way to get involved in helping others as well- i am in the process of making 90 (or as close as I can get) hygeine packs for this homeless program in Orlando with my freebies. They're going to be in gallon sized FREE baggies from cvs with a bow attached. (for christmas). CVS IS AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm first! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI've only been CVSing for a few months now but I've gotten pretty good at it and it has saved our family a ton of money. If it weren't for all you mommy-bloggers out there I would still be paying full price for everything. You have taught me so much. Thanks!

I have tried doing the CVS savings thing and I haven't quiet got it figured out yet. But it is my goal this school year to get better at it.
ReplyDeletestill a newbie so i have more oop than most if the oldhats but i'm getting a stockpile going and having fun! thanks...
ReplyDeleteOhh $5 for CVS would be a great prize for someone just starting out in the CVS game or a great bonus to those of us who have been at it for awhile.
ReplyDeleteThe best deal that I have recieved lately was the free Kodak DVD's and a few weeks ago the Kodak picture books that were free after rebate. While I wasn't one of the lucky ones who found those wonderful $3 off coupons free is still great and now I am well on my way to having my Christmas shopping done.
I'm new to CVS'ing and haven't really started because of the start up costs, like you've mentioned. The nearest CVS is 12 miles away and as a stay at home mom on a very limited budget, I need another outlet besides Walgreens to get the rest of my household products for pennies on the dollar. That $5 gift card would be just the incentive I'd need to get startd. :)
ReplyDeleteMe! Me! Enter me! I started CVSing about 4 months ago and have saved over $500!! To be true, I don't use many of the products I've bought (or stolen?) so I'm donating a lot.
ReplyDeleteI am fairly new to CVSing..about three weeks.
ReplyDeleteSomeone who is just starting out now can buy the Energy for an initial up front cost of $4.99 and get $4.99 ECB back.
Then use the $4.99 ECB to get the children's Advil for $5.79 and get $5.79 back.
So they would spend $5.79 out of pocket but have $5.79 in ECB for the next time.
If they happen to win the gift card then they would only spend 79 cents and have two free items plus have $5.79 ECB for later purchases.
I hope I did this right. :-)
A $5 gift card?!?!?! Do you know how long that will last! I am so thankful for the savings we have found at CVS!
ReplyDeleteStacy
I started CVSing a couple of months ago. I've gotten some GREAT deals, but then used up all of my ECB's and just had to start over again last week. I'm heading over to CVS soon to spend about $5 OOP for about $30 worth of "stuff". I usually only buy things that I will use unless it ends up being more than free after ECB's. I'm posting a link on my blog, too. http://whatevercomestolauriesmind.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!
whatevercomestomind at gmail dot com
Guess I better get in on this too. You know I have enjoyed doing some CVSing thanks to your blog and your help. Who couldn't use an extra 5 bucks!
ReplyDeleteI started CVSing about a month ago (7/13 was my first newspaper; today, 8/03, was the first week I got multiple newspapers).
ReplyDeleteI have a post up on my blog currently detailing how much I have saved through CVS this month. After CVS sales, manufacturer coupons, ECBs, and all rebates - they paid me $15 to take home $300 in product!
http://step-eclecticity.blogspot.com/2008/07/cvs-monthly-summary-july-2008.html
I've saved THOUSANDS of dollars at CVS! I'm so spoiled by CVS that I really don't even want just free toothpaste...they have to be paying me to take it home! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE CVS! I started CVS'n in April and I have saved over $3000 on 2 cards with a OOP of less than $200.
ReplyDeleteWe feel as if we have a second income.
AWESOME giveaway. That $5.00 gift card could bring home a good $200.00 worth of merchandise or more.
Thanks!
Vickie
I posted about your CVS Gift Card Giveaway on my blog.
ReplyDeletehttp://cherriesjubile.blogspot.com/2008/08/cvs-gift-card-giveaway.html
Thanks!
Vickie
Let's see. One deal I got in the past was the batteries. Tons of free batteries. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI do CVS off & on. You can get So many deals, I really wish I didn't wait as long as I did to start up. I am so stocked up right now on toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors & even shampoo. I don't even do any of the baby deals or the food deals there, which I really should start! I'd love to win the $5 gift card though to keep my going. The weeks I don't go is usually because I don't have any cash for the OOP expense. Yes that is sad to say since the out of pocket is usually under $2, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi I am just finding your site today! I shop CVS regularly but have yet to save money like everone else does. don't know what I'm doing wrong.
ReplyDeleteI'm a CVS believer! Today I got over 50 dollars in product for 5.01 in only two transactions!!!!! Yay for CVS!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading your blog for shopping tips. CVS is great (been CVSing since May 08)! I will never spend "real" money on toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, Q-tips, cotton balls, nail polish, mascara, hand soap, etc..again! Its great knowing that even in difficult economical times there are still great deals and freebies to be had! Thanks for this opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI've got so much free toothpaste and deoderant in my bathroom! CVS is great and definitely saves me money.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your tips. Please enter me too. I used to work at CVS...but, I didn't really know how to do it right until I became a stay at home mom and reading your blog. Thanks. I'll be posting to my blog soon... visit me some time at http://tried-and-true-deals.blogspot.com
Please enter me..I love your blog!
ReplyDeletePick me, Pick me!!!
ReplyDeleteI have kept track of my spending/savings since the first of this year. Shelf price $7,450 and my OOP $118. I love CVS!!!
This week the Oral B toothbrushes are $2.49 and there is a coupon for $1.00 and you get back $1.50 in ECB. Also Colgate toothpaste is $2.49 and there is a $1.00 coupon and you get back $2.00 in ECB. Never, ever buy anything at CVS that is not on sale (Their prices are way too expensive!) The key to keeping your OOP low is to use your ECB to purchase something that will earn an ECB.
I don't have a blog yet, although my kids all tell me I should :)
ReplyDeleteI have told several people about your website and all the good info found on it. Love the idea of your CVS give away . . . especially if you pick me :)
I have just started CVSing in the last few months. It's been great. I can't tell you how many wonderful deals I've found. Thanks for telling us abou the bargains.
ReplyDeleteI would like to try cvsing w/ a $5 gift card! They rock!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing CVS with me. It has been a tremendous blessing to our family. It buys my diapers plus all of our toiletires. It has been really fun giving things away to my frineds. I have told several of my friends about it.
ReplyDeleteCVS is still scary to me!! I stopped shopping there when I found out the ads weren't true - you "earn" the money for a return trip - but I'm getting braver...and hoping to try a deal or two - soon. Thanks for the encouragement!
ReplyDeleteI've caught the bug and today is my first day! Wish me luck! :)
ReplyDeleteC.S :)

Hi! Thanks for doing this giveaway! I started CVSing back in May and since then I've saved over $800!! :) I don't know how I lived my life before CVS! lol
ReplyDeleteYou can find my blog (and me) at www.mycrazyamazingworld.blogspot.com
Thanks again!

I'm fairly new at CVSing. I've only been at it for a few weeks. I'm learning which cashiers give you problems with coupons and which are thrilled to have you in their stores. I have four CVS stores that are on my regular weekly driving routes, so I can stop at different stores and not feel funny about overloading one store with my coupons! :) I've started a small stockpile of things we were constatly putting on the shopping list before, and I've started a donation bag for our local women's shelter. I'm loving being able to save and give at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI love CVSing! I have been doing it for five months or so and have already saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars. We never spend money on toiletries anymore, and I get the best diaper deals there too. On top of all that, I've been able to give so many of my CVS deals away to those who are in need. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am a baby CVS shopper and I LOVE it . . . what was I missing!! I saved 96 dollars on my last purchase and received 22 ECBs back. I was so happy that the clerk was cracking up because she too knows the deals that go on there! Amazing!!
ReplyDeletejen_clemmer at hotmail dot com
I just started CVS-ing this summer and it really has paid off - and it's kinda fun! My biggest piece of advice is to buy at least 4 papers each week. I didn't do that at first thinking it was a waste of money, who needs that many? But when a good buy-one-get-one-free deal rolls around, I'd totally make make all my paper money using 4 coupons. Or whenever there's a super deal where the item ends up free after coupons... you'll really wish you had 4! I get them at Tom Thumb/Kroger/Walmart for $3 each for the Double-Ads paper. Not bad!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'd like to enter your contest!
ReplyDelete~ Sarah Pabody
P.S. Melissa H. told me about you!
My friend introduced me to CVSing just 3 months ago. Already my cubboard is full of free shampoo, toothpaste, and other things. I am so excited not having to spend (hardly) any money on things like medicine, and personal care products!
ReplyDeleteCVS is about 1/2 hour away from me, but it's near where my son has been having speech therapy this summer.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be so sad when school starts and I'm not able to go to CVS twice a week!
I've never left a store feeling so ... victorious!
I've only been CVS'ing for a couple months. I love that when they have BIGI sales, and I have manufacturer Q's, I can get both items for FREE!
ReplyDeleteI have just started using CVS. Last week I earned $1.98 in ECB's I am hoping to do a little better tomorrow. I would love to win. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCVS Rocks, and I've saved so much money from shopping there just this year! Thanks for offering this giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteI am still new to CVS'ing but it has already saved me a lot on everyday items I use! Just today I bought a Colgate Advanced Toothpaste and Dawn Dishsoap and spent a mere $.54 and got $2 ECBs back! A $5 giftcard would go really far!!
ReplyDeleteI just started the CVS game in late July, so I'm still a newbie. I appreciate all your guidance in this area!
ReplyDeleteJust yesterday I got five 12 packs of Pepsi products, a tube of Colgate, two packs of Ice Breakers Sours, and CVS brand ibuprofen for $3.68 out of pocket. I had to use some Extra Bucks from a previous visit, but still a pretty good deal.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have the gift card. Thanks for the chance to win!
I don't know if I have any new tips for you but I do love shopping at CVS. I guess I would just say it's amazing how many times you can "recycle" ECB's. It seems like the same $10 buys everything once you are rolling in the ECB's :)
ReplyDeleteoh- and I blogged about this on my blog today so please enter me twice :)(www.christis2cents.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteI look at the deals but can't ever figure out how yawl can get off so cheap but I guess yawl save ECBs they burn a hole in my pocket lol but I do LOVE CVS they do have some good ways to save money!
ReplyDeleteI've been CVS-ing for a while now....the best advice to roll your Extra Bucks into an item that earns you ExtraBucks!! Ohh...and use coupons too!!
ReplyDeleteI like to "recycle" my extra bucks to always have some.
ReplyDeletenicole_fillion03@yahoo.com
I started doing the whole CVS thing at the beginning of July and I have already gotten $1800 worth of merchandise and they have actually paid me $102 to do it. I have really caught on quickly and have several people offering to take me out to lunch so I can teach them what I'm doing. I have been blessed with so many things and me and my daughters are able to donate them to shelters and to children that are in need. What a blessing! So LOVE doing it and am excited when Sunday rolls around to see what will be free that week!
ReplyDeleteI've just recently gotten into "cvsing" so I'm still learning, but having so much fun!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me twice as I've also added a link on my blog. Thanks for this giveaway!
Wow! What a great giveaway. I just started shopping at CVS a couple of months ago and have REALLY enjoyed saving money. It is really hard to pay full price for anything since I have found CVS.
ReplyDeleteI also blogged about your give away: http://blog.simplycara.com/?p=29
Thanks!
I love CVS! I saved so much money at CVS its rediculous.
ReplyDeleteI just recently began the CVS game, so I've been using your site frequently to get the scoop on all of the great deals. THANKS! Since I'm not a pro yet, the $5GC would really help me out!
ReplyDeletehi, I would love a cvs card I've just started and I love it!!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the CVS gift card giveaway. I'm a huge fan of CVS and I love saving money whenever I can:)
It works well, just make sure you follow the rules carefully.
ReplyDeleteHi! Love your site. I've been CVSing for about 4 months and I've saved over $600 so far according to my receipts!!
ReplyDeleteI love CVSing! It's really helped me stretch my budget and has helped to give me that feeling of "going shopping" w/o breaking the budget!

ReplyDeleteI'm a veteran CVS'r but in these hard times, I can use a $5 gift card. I check your blog daily, and really appreciate how much you have helped me save money!
ReplyDeleteI love CVS! If there isn't anything I want, I buy something, anything that is free after extrabucks and donate it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a $5 gift card to CVS! I just started CVS'ing in July and I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteI'm still learning to use the ECB's right... but my first transaction at CVS to get me hooked involved 8 bottles of nail polish and 3 bottles of advil for only 1.24 OOP!
The very next week I got a 12 pk of Charmin, 2 bottles of palmolive, some bandaids and colgate for only 38cents!!! :)Plus I earned 2ECB's on that transaction.
I love CVS, I just started shopping there at the beginning and have already saved a lot of money, thanks to blogs like yours. I love looking at everyone else's scenerios and then making my own. It is so much fun getting so much stuff for so little.
ReplyDeleteI love to save at CVS! If I win, I'll share in detail just how far $5 on a gift card can go!
ReplyDeleteJulie Ca
I must tell you that CVS'ing is so addictive. I started a year or so ago, and now I am truly hooked. I actually went 2 times today. Well, I went for a few things this morning, then saw there was a $2 off $10, so I had to go back.
ReplyDeleteI am new to CVSing and I haven't quite got it down yet. Would love to win the gift card - to get more practice.
ReplyDeleteI thought I entered...but I guess I didn't yet. I've done some CVSing, but stopped because I ran out of my ECBs. I'd love to get started again...I just hate to put out the money to do it! Thanks for this great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI got a $25 CVS gift card for an Rx transfer in March and it took me until July to use it up! CVS is the only store where I can go in with a gift card worth 83 cents and still come out not having used it up!!
ReplyDeletemrs.frugal(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
Love CVS! I just started doing the deals in June and what a difference it makes! Sadly my 3 year old knows how to read the words CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid! I think my favorite recent deals were the photo book and Kodak DVD. They made great out-of-the-blue gifts for the grandparents! I love being able to send special little gifs and not have to spend a ton!
ReplyDeleteThis week, I went to CVS for the first time to try out a great ECB deal. I started off small with a toothpaste deal because I had some coupons (buy 2 Colgate and get $4 ECBs). It was a really good feeling to get those ECBs for my next trip to CVS. Your $5 gift card would help a lot!

I'd love to enter! CVS-ing (or learning about it and improving, at any rate, is totally changing my life!)
ReplyDeleteWould love to win and try my hand at CVS-ing.

Please help fund my free toothbrush/toothpaste addiction. $5 is a month's worth of CVS goodies!
ReplyDeleteI've only been playing the CVS game for the last 2 months or so, but I'm loving it so far. I don't always do things correctly to get the perfect out of pocket costs like others, but it happens sometimes, and I'm still learning. Thanks for offering this giveaway.

ReplyDeleteIlove "CVS-ing" because it not only benefits my family, but lets me bless others as well, such as baby items for my local pro-life organization, OTC meds for medical mission trips overseas, etc

CVSing is WONDERFUL! The great thing about it is that they will let you combine coupons, and, our will even accept them after they expire!
ReplyDeleteI want to try CVSing and this would be a great incentive!
ReplyDeleteI'm forwarding this to my mom, sister and friend... I hope to see their names here, too.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOHH! A giveaway! Gotta love those ~~ and, it's to my favorite store. I was at CVS yesterday armed with my flyer and coupons. The subtotal ran up to $63.79. When I got finished with all my coupons, the total came to $30.58. I thought the woman behind me was going to faint!! In this day and age, we all have to be careful how we spend our money. I think this will be a great opportunity to start using CVS. A friend just told me about the advantages of going there. I am excited to try it out. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new CVSer and I LOVE getting extra care bucks and using them at the register like cash. Why wasn't I doing this before?
ReplyDeletePlease enter me a second time. I emailed my mom, sister, and BFF.
ReplyDeleteCVSing is Great! ONce you get the hang of the extracare bucks, you will love it! I save them up until I have about $10-$20 and then I buy something I wouldn't ordinarily buy. Here's a great example: there was $14.99 sand play kit on sale for 33% off (I still would not pay that much) and I used $5 worth of extra care bucks and got the kit for $5.
ReplyDeletePlease enter me twice since I am emailing my fellow coupon buddy. Thx!
ReplyDelete3rd comment - 3 entries?
ReplyDeleteBeware that there IS an expiration date to extra care bucks but it is usually adequate time to use them before they expire! :)
i would love the card...i am not as good as most about doing the deals but i use my $5 off coupons towards formula and diapers. but i combine them with my other coupons.
ReplyDeleteI'm learning
ReplyDeleteluckydolls123[at]verizon[dot]net
I'd love to begin CVSing. I've done it a couple of times, but am by far no pro.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying my hand at CVS for a while now. A friend got me started last fall. I've had ups and downs, but overall, it's been such a blessing to my family. So many times I do actually walk away paying absolutely nothing out of pocket. It's not always that way, but it happens enough to keep me going back for more, even when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with coupons, ads, and ECB's!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so much fun learning all this though. :)
You can email me at
rdw_thots at yahoo dot com
Thanks!
Wow, You're great. I learned so much from you! I've only been doing this for 3 wks.
ReplyDeleteI've also recently started to shop frequently at CVS, you can't go wrong with a product you can make money on after ECB.
ReplyDeleteI've been a little hit-or-miss at CVS -- a win here might get me back into it again! :)
ReplyDeleteI forgot yesterday to include my blog address where I posted about this giveaway.. it's ellatheamazing.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I just chanced upon your blog on Google and I liked it that I bookmarked it on my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI just started CVS-ing about 3 months ago and I am still learning but I was able to stock up on diapers (my son currently wears a Sz 2 and I have diapers stocked up for up to Sz 4!), wipes, detergents and other household necessities. This really saved us a lot of money especially that we only have a single income right now.
I fail to go to CVS every week though, because the closest is about 15 miles from my house and unfortunately my ECBS expired.
Your $5 CVS gift card giveaway would be wonderful for me to start over.
Thanks,
Jem

I am ready to learn how to CVS! This gift card would help launch my new hobby...saving tons of money.
ReplyDeleteI started CVSing once my daughter was born (in November) as a way to save money on costly diapers and wipes. I have yet to ever pay more than $2 for any baby products!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me twice, as I have also posted your giveaway on my blog http://tickledpinkhousewife.blogspot.com/
I'm new-ish to CVS-ing, thanks largely to sites like yours! I got about $25 for $9.44 this week (used some coupons, ECBs, and a $4/$20 CRT). I like it! I want to keep it up! A little extra to play with would be fun. Thanks for doing this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI just posted a link to your blog!
ReplyDeleteI have also posted your blog on my parenting board... you should see @ least 5 more people post from there

Hi...I've posted about the giveaway on my blog...please enter me again. :) Thanks, Sherry
ReplyDeleteI'm not a newbie to CVS, but I'm not an old hat either, since I live about an hour away from one and only make it there once a month. But, I have saved soooo much money just from the handful of times I've gone! My latest trip, I got $25 worth of items for $4...and that includes tax! :)
ReplyDeleteI Love CVSing! I'm almost a pro! My best advise to newbies: always scan your card when you go in if the kioask is available AND always take note of clearance items and try to match them up w/ Q's for huge savings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great give-away! I'd love the goft card!
I want to start CVSing - I have started reading up and I plan to go this week. A gift card is a great way to get it going!
ReplyDeletei am a regular CVS shopper, with one only 1/4 mile from my house. I adore the employees and they always hook me up with extra deals if they can! i also have great customer service - i bought a pack of 52 playskool diapers, and returned them with only 7 left (they sucked at first, but got progressively suckier the moer i used) and they returned the FULL retail price (which i NEVER would have paid!!!)
ReplyDeletesome killer CVS deals ive gotten include 10 packs of duracell batteries (AA and AAA packs have 8 batteries, C and D have 4), and 3 packs of johnsons and johnsons safety baby q-tips.... my total was 16 cents, and i got $5 ecb back.
another deal i found myself with 3 jumbo packs of huggies diapers (soft and dry? not the premium), 1 pack of playskool diapers (mentioned above) - diaper count total was 166 -, a venus embrace razor, a diaper bag sized baby powder, and 3 refill packs of playskool wipes... after coupons and ECBs my cash out of pocket total was $2.91, AND i received $15 ECBs back on the purchases.
I would certainly love an entry for a $5 gift card! my email is princess_steffie@yahoo.com Thanks!
I LOvE cvs!!!! I am a total addict. Unfortunatly, we don't have the kiosk in my store yet. I live in a really small town with only one cvs. I would love a $5 cvs card! Every little bit helps.
ReplyDeleteI kick myself every week because I haven't had the nerve and taken the time to learn how to work CVS. This would be the nudge I need!
ReplyDeleteI have never visited your site, but I LOVE CVS. I always get good deals there. The people who ring me out there say that I do well. So it would be fun to win more CVS money!
ReplyDeleteI'm somewhat new to CVS'ing. Last week I did the BOGO Lifesavers coupon candy deal and got a bunch of free candy plus ECB!
ReplyDeletei just started shopping with coupons at cvs. i just bought supplies for a coupon binder and am excited to save more money. i would love the cvs gift card. thank you!
ReplyDeleteI've been shopping CVS for a few months now and have saved hundreds of $'s. After getting many tips and info from your blog and others, I shopped CVS last night and bought $85 worth of products for $35. Thanks for the valuable info. I would use the $5 GC to rack up more savings and then pass on the many free items to my local charity. We are truly blessed!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try "CVSing"!

I love CVSing! I love not only to get cheap/free things for my family, I love showing my son how to plan and spend wisely, and also Being able to share with others without blowing our own budget!
ReplyDeleteI used to LOVE the CVS deals, but since I moved 2 years ago, I rarely do them. Just this afternoon I drove by a CVS with my husband and told him that I am going to make a point of it to be prepared for CVS deals when we go to the "city" so that I can take advantage of them!
ReplyDeleteI also blogged about your contest near the end of this post: http://thriftyjinxy.blogspot.com/2008/08/freebie-friday-free-stuff-contests-and.html
ReplyDeleteHi I've added a link to your post on my blog...thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteId love to win this, I just signed up this week online so I'm waiting for my card in the mail. I'd love to start off without really spending my own money. :) It would really show hubby it's a good thing. He's still in doubt. He said, do whatever but I'm not going in with you because you are going to find out you can't get a ton of stuff for nothing or under a buck. haha, I'd love to prove him wrong.
ReplyDeletePlease count me in.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I just started CVSing yesterday. :D Thanks for having the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCVSing has saved me a bundle on all my health & beauty items! I love that I can pick up H&B items, paper and household products and even some groceries for pennies!

ReplyDeleteI Love CVS!!! Utilizing the 2 / 10 and the 2 beauty product coupon, I got 30 dollars of free Clean and Clear this week!! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am a sorta newbie CVSer. There is one CVS that I go to and the store manager always comes out to see me. Today, I promised her that I would get her the names of the websites that I use. Obviously I will be giving her your site information. I have told many, many friends about CVS and your site.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your time and effort to help us along.

ReplyDeleteI have been CVSing for about 6 months now...some weeks I do great, while other week are very BAD!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI am fairly new to the CVS game but am learning everytime. I have learned so much from others like yourself and am glad I found your blog so I can learn more. What a great giveaway! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm about to move to a place with a CVS and can't wait to try my hand at earning ECBs!
ReplyDeletei'd love to try cvsing
ReplyDeleteI am new to the CVS experience. I have to pass by a brand new store on my way to the grocery, so it is worth the effort I am putting into this. One of these times I will get it right and come away with 0 out of pocket. I am on the board of a food pantry and am excited about getting some items that we would otherwise not be able to offer. Blessings to you and your family.
