Free Entertainment Book!

Edit 12/11 :
It looks like a lot of people are kind of confused about this deal. I guess I didn't do a very good job explaining it. I should have said that the book is free after you get your cash back in your Cashbaq account. Here's how David from Cashbaq explains it:

The book is marked down $10 at the Entertainment Book website. The other $15 ($10 cash back and $5 Cashbaq sign up bonus) are credited to your Cashbaq account a few days after you place your order. We'll then send it to you via check or Paypal. The good news is that you only need to earn $10 to get a check so you'll get it with this one order. The better news is that we are speeding up payment on Entertainment Books. (We usually have to hold payment for 90 days as stores need that to account for returns.) So there are two ways you save at Cashbaq: The first is all of the coupons like the $10 off you are getting on the Entertainment Book website and the other is the $10 cash back that goes into your Cashbaq account. I'm happy to answer any questions that anyone has about this or any other store we have. -David

Thanks so much for your help, David. And of course, you all can feel free to leave more comments or email me as well if you need any more help.

Here's how to get your very own 2009 Entertainment book for free:

Register with Cashbaq. You'll get $5 just for signing up. When you shop with Cashbaq you'll get paid back either a certain percentage or a certain dollar amount of your purchase. They also offer coupon codes that you can combine with the cash back offers.

In the case of the Entertainment book, their current promotion is $10 off with free shipping. Plus, they are also offering $10 cash back after you purchase it.

In my area, the Entertainment book is $25. (I believe it is $30 in some areas.)

So,
$25
- $10 Cashbaq promotion
- $10 cash back (make sure you click through the link on your Cashbaq account)
- $ 5 signup bonus

  1. MaryEllen, thanks for writing about Cashbaq.

The Entertainment Books have been flying off the shelves. With the current economic issues, we're leaving the cash back at $10. The prices of the books vary by region but a lot are at $25 so, yeah... they're free.

You get $10 cash back per book (not per order) and we are looking to speed up payment on Entertainment Books since no one returns them.

Don't forget that there are over 2,000 online stores and services on Cashbaq.

    Happy shopping!

  3. MaryEllen (or David): I started an account with Cashbaq, clicked their link for the entertainment book, which mine would be $25 for my area.

So I was redirected to entertainment.com and here's what they're saying my new price is:

    Retail: $25.00 Your Price: $15.00

I clicked through a few pages there, and saw that shipping is free if using the longest one.

So, if I proceeded through like above, I'd get an additional $10 rebate from Cashbaq, AND the $5 bonus, for a total of $15 from Cashbaq (via my Paypal or snail/paper-check)?, which I'm thinking would cancel out the payment I'd make at entertainment.com

Would what I'm trying above be the same deal you've posted? Thanks!

  4. Thanks for the information! I am SO confused though! I added the book I wanted to my cart & proceeded to checkout.

I do have the free shipping listed, but nothing has been taken out of my total. How do I get my $5 cashbaq reward in there & the other 2 $10 things off (the cash back & $10 off.)

I was thankful that the one I needed is $20! Thanks for letting us in in the deal!

  5. Hi Eden

The deal is very confusing. I am guessing the $20 book you are referring to already includes the $10 off coupon. The $10 Cash Back you will see in your Cashbaq account after you make the purchase (similar to a rebate). The $5 off you have to agree to do automatic renewal through the Entertainment website when you purchase the book and the $5 off will then show up. So the book would actually be $5 for your area. If you order more than one thought the price goes down to $13 so you could actually earn money on the second book. Good Luck!

  7. I understand the deal but I can't find the book on the cashbaq site?? Do you think they've taken it off because they're out or something??

  8. Beth,
I just checked the Cashbaq site, and the Entertainment book showed up fine for me. There's a big ad in the upper right hand corner of the home page, and it's also listed in the right hand column of cashback offers.
